The 9,618 square foot French Country house is surrounded by fabulously landscaped lawns, rock terraces, trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground covers.  The house provides ample private family spaces and numerous rooms for entertaining groups of various sizes. There is also a magnificent cherry-paneled office suite that includes an executive office, conference room with seating for 12 people, reception area, butler’s kitchen, and private powder room.  Large windows throughout the house provide ample light to make the living spaces feel open and inviting. Sweeping views from every room showcase the surrounding beauty.  From various locations in the house you’ll see the Front Range, the Boulder Flatirons, Haystack Mountain, Table Mountain, and the eastern plains. There is a top tier kitchen with premier appliances.  The three  dining/conference rooms accommodate 30 guests for sit-down indoor dining.   The billiards room has amazing views of the Boulder Flatirons with large sliding glass doors that open to the swimming pool.  Whether the family is at home alone, entertaining a few guests, conducting a business meeting, or hosting a large gathering, everything flows together in a comfortable and efficient manner. 

Immediately outside the house are two large areas suitable for a wide variety of activities.  You can toss a football or play frisbee, bocce ball or croquet.  Both areas are large enough to host a wedding or other event with well over 100 guests. There is also a 30X60 foot heated swimming pool and 6 person heated spa. An almost 4,000 square foot pool deck provides sweeping vistas including Pikes Peak, the Boulder Flatirons and the Front Range from Boulder to Lyons.

Hidden in the valley of the property is your own golf course and a regulation size tennis court. The golf course has 9 tee boxes and 3 greens, so you can easily play 9 holes. Beside the tennis court are a large pergola seating area and horseshoe pits under maple trees. Adjacent to the tennis court is a third large flat lawn, suitable for a large event or play space with picturesque vistas in every direction.

South of the golf course and tennis court is a conservation area that is several acres in size. This conservation area has not been walked on for about 35 years and is home to a variety of natural wildlife.  You can find nesting meadowlarks and other birds, as well as native prairie grass, pinion pine, and a large sitting rock called Lookout Point.  As you walk or run the private footpath, approximately a half mile loop without leaving your yard, you will pass through the conservation area, recreation areas, lawns, rock terraces, private woodlands, and the golf course. Along the way you will also have opportunity to climb your own little mountain, with a large sitting rock on top called Bella Vista Point.  Along the footpath you will also find a picnic area, situated under towering trees (one of the oldest cottonwood trees in Boulder County among them), adjacent to a small, beautiful lake with its own island, where you can feed the fish.
